Live music, beach parties, dance clubs, bars and taverns, bowling alleys, arcades and cinemas are available to fulfill your idea of a good time after dark. Siesta Key certainly isn't as famous as other Florida vacation spots like Orlando, Miami or Fort Lauderdale, and people who own property here are glad. There are enough visitors here to contribute to a healthy economy, yet not so many that living here is unpleasant. You will see other vacationers on your trip to the Key, but nowhere near as many as you would if you went to Walt Disney World, for example. Many vacationers who come to Siesta Key spend a lot of time in Sarasota, while others hang out on the island and enjoy a more relaxed pace.
