Considering Live Oak Florida Real Estate? Read This!

Live Oak Florida real estate is a great choice for anyone seeking property in a small town with a lot to offer. This city is located in Suwanee County and serves as the county seat. The population here is approximately 6800 people, making Live Oak one of the least populated Florida cities. Suwanee County is bordered by the famous Suwanee River, and is located east of Tallahassee. If you want to live in Florida but don't want to reside in an area filled with tourists, this town is for you. While there aren't any major theme parks or tourist attractions located here, Live Oak certainly has its share of charm.

One of the most popular attractions in Live Oak is Suwannee River State Park. The highlight of the park is of course the river. Here you will find campgrounds, cabins, canoe rental and picnic pavilions. The most popular activities at the park are those that take place on the water, like boating, kayaking and fishing. The river is home to bass, catfish and panfish. Be advised you will need a fishing license if you are over the age of 16. For those who want to stay on land, there are various nature trails perfect for walking or biking. There is also plenty of room for travelers who want to stay in their own RV.

The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park is another top attraction located in Live Oak. This park offers RV and tent camping, great scenery and fun live music. There are events held here all the time, featuring different types of music. You will also find stables, mini golf, canoeing, a craft village, country store and the Suwannee alpaca farm. Although music is the main attraction at this park, there are plenty of other things to do as well.

If you are interested in Live Oak Florida real estate, it's a good idea to work with a realtor familiar with the area. The classifieds are also a good place to look, especially if you're not sure whether you want to buy in this area and just want to get an idea about what's available. You might also be able to find listings on the Internet. There are many realtors who post their available listings online to make it more convenient for potential buyers.
